Client Access and Vhex data Type download problem -- MIDRANGE-L

Subject: Client Access and Vhex data Type download problem

I am having trouble downloading a file that has one of the fields as Variable-length hexadecimal data type (Vhex) in client access file download to PC.

Every field is converted properply to Asci except the field with Vhex that gets downloaded as hex numbers.

Can anyone please tell me how to properly download this field.
