Can anyone suggest a low-cost method for editing AS/400 source members with
a PC editor. I'm running Client Access V3R2M0. I'm able to open a source
member without too much trouble (with notepad, for example), but saving is
a problem. If the result of editing is a line longer than 80 characters
(including trailing blanks!) the save either fails or stops writting data
at the offending line, resulting in data loss.

So am I crazy, or what? I don't want to invest in a giant tool like
Code/400. I just want to edit some text.
