Copy to AS/400 database file and then transfer that flat file to the PC. Don't know yet why CCSID is not correct, but I know the two copy method works. jim_anderson@kandkinsurance.com on 12/14/98 04:34:31 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com cc: Subject: CPYTOSTMF OK, I've located a command that I belive will copy an AS/400 flat file to a DIR, which is the CPYTOSTMF (Copy to Stream File) command. I am able to execute the command just fine, but the data gets scrambled to something I'm not sure what is. The file is simple text. Is anyone familiar how I should handle the data conversion options and code pages?
