• Subject: EOFDLY doesn't work for empty files?

We just spent some time trying to debug an application that uses EOFDLY:
We submitted the job and it would terminate immediately (no errors.)
After much tinkering, we discovered that if the file is cleared, EOFDLY
does not work. When we added a record and submitted the job,
the program read that one record and EOFDLY kicked in and the
program stayed running.

I can find no documentation for this behaviour - is this unique to V4R3?
