Gee, don't I have a VBG! (And you know what I mean, Jon.) IMHO, IBM does not believe that AS/400 users would be so crass as to use so backward an interface as FTP to get source files between the AS/400 and a PC. but... I have been doing so ever since I purchased C Set ++ for OS/2 (precursor to VisualAge C++) and discovered that the LPEX editor shipped in C Set ++ for OS/2 included such goodies as the RPG, COBOL, C, C++, Navigator for C, COBOL and RPG, etc. Under OS/2, still works GREAT. Under windows, minus Navigator (which is a DLL) just move the macros over and ... TAA DAA! Same as it ever was. ;-) b.
