Have you noticed that there is a great increase this year in people sending e-
mail Christmas cards in place of the traditional snail-mail kinds? I don't
have a greeting with all of the flourishes and pretty scenary. However, I did
want to send out a short message to say that I appreciate you being out there.

Being cyber-nomads means that Pam and I have traveled to where the work is or
to where our education needs can be met. As a result, we have lost much of the
traditional community supports that one gathers while living steadily in one
place. Instead, we have found a cyber-community that is actually more
intimate. I appreciate you all being out there. Thank you, and have some very
happy holidays.
