Christopher, I've used both Mocha Soft and PSI 3164 for internet access to our AS/400. Here's a map of our installation and it may give you some assistance. At the host (AS/400) site: AS/400 has internal IP address 10.0.1.x (private) and Telnet server running AS/400 is connected to a router via Ethernet hub where the router has address 277.57.xxx.xx (public) The router has been configured to forward Telnet requests at port 23 to 10.0.1.x (the AS/400) At the remote site: For single users (from home) they just make their internet connection then startup the Telnet program and connect to host 277.57.xxx.xx For small networks they too are connected to a router. Within their internet connection, they use the router's IP address as their "gateway" and Telnet to 277.57.xxx.xx In the above situations where I've specified a router, it could just as well be a PC running a proxy server.
