Don't waste your time with those bogus formats for printing!

I have literally paid for a HP LaserJet 6P printing white and red book PDFs.
Call me old fashioned, but I gotta have those post-it notes sticking out the
of the ends of real notebooks! Set the LJ to print 2 up (or, in extreme
cases with the magnifying glass close by) 4 up and a 300page manual prints
amazingly quickly.

For online lookup, PDF is awful--not even usable. But that's not what's for
its for anyway. PDF's purpose makes great paper replicas. Shame on IBM for
not making the PDFs (and HTML) versions easily available on CD!
