Hey John how ya doing? Have you checked in the file transfer properties to make sure that you are going from EBCDIC to ASCII and that the sending file type is correct? Having (the I already know you did that part) out of the way, my only guess, and it is just that, is that CA is whacked somewhere! We move files back and forth from the 400 to NT and W95 often and I have not seen that behavior. We are running the version of CA that comes with 4.2. _____________________________________________________________________ Howard Weatherly hweatherly@dlis.dla.mil howard.weatherly@ctg.com hweath@ibm.net X4324 +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
