>From V4R2 up OS/400 supports DDm over TCP/IP. As for SAVRSTLIB - this is an APPC application, so you will have to configure Anynet. It's rather simple and works well (at least this was my experience). Best regards Alexey Pytel "Graap, Ken" <keg@exchange.gasco.com> on 01/15/99 02:56:46 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To: "'Midrange'" <midrange-l@midrange.com> cc: (bcc: Alexei Pytel/Rochester/IBM) Subject: Object transfers via TCP/IP I've always connected AS/400's together via APPC/APPN in order to support connectivity functions such as STRPASTHR, DDM, SAVRSTLIB etc... In the environment I find myself in now though, I only have TCP/IP links available between my systems.... I know I can replace STRPASTHR with TELNET but how will I (if I even can) use DDM and SAVRSTLIB? Will I need to configure ANYNET (APPC over IP)? My previous experience with ANYNET (V3R7) wasn't much fun... Kenneth -- ******************************** Kenneth E.
