• Subject: Assistance with QHFRTVAT and IFS

Folks:

I'm trying to use the QHFRTVAT API to access information about IFS
objects but running into a snag.

When I call the API for an object in the \QDLS file system, it works
fine... but when I try to get information about something else, it fails
with a CPF1F83 message ("File system name ___ not found").

The object's I'm trying to get information about are in the \HOME
directory... and the file system name reference in the error message is
"HOME".

I suspect there is a way to specify the file system to query ... perhaps
with a prefix (like QDLS) but I'm not sure what it should be.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

david
