We have a model 2 also and it does reposition when pressing the start (it
wastes only one page).  You do have to press start a second time like
someone else mentioned so that it is not stopped.  When you were pressing
eject only, you were experiencing the repositioning because the forms were
unloading.    The key is you need to set the top of form to get the form to
reposition correctly.  Let me know if you need more information on this.

I found out today that the model 2 (which is what we got, of course)
supposedly
DOESN'T eject and reposition but the 8 and 12 do...
