I provide a BUSINESS RECOVERY SERVICE (BRS) OFFERING which provides a place for a customer to run his operation while his own site is inoperable.  Such offerings require the ability to use customer's software licenses on Machines other than the normally
designated Machines.

BRS and most other BRS offerings provide for the customer to run
periodic tests via simulations to determine whether the BRS site will adequately back up their production systems. These tests do include  productive work, software testing or development.  Also, the tests do
include Year 2000 program development or program testing. They are
run merely to check out the adequacy of the back up facility to support the customers software configuration and to simulate the disaster recovery procedures.

The practice, specifically YEAR 2000 testing is not a true test because of the 70 days grace period on v4r2. i.e. If you roll over to a date you can only test within that next 70 days .

Hi, Glen:

Sure.  Just contact IBM, and they'll do it for you, if you can demonstrate the need to have it done.  Why would you need this?
