5250 mod 11 works fine on 9406-xxx The only device not supported when changing s/38 to AS/400 was the MFCU. Given that fact at a AS/400-seminar 11 years ago I asked how we then could do our dayly backup? Well - keep the old S738 and establish an APPC-connection was the answer. MFCU? You don't remember that old Multi-Function-Card-Unit (96 cols)? And diskettes from a 3741 can still be read too (not on all models though) Regards Henrik Krebs ------------------------------------------------------------ Henrik Krebs IT Consultant (IBM AS/400) Phone +45 55 44 26 50 Mobile +45 40 88 83 23 Email: hkrebs@hkrebs.dk Web: http://www.hkrebs.dk/ Snailmail: Kokhaven 8, DK-4736 Karrebaeksminde ------------------------------------------------------------ +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
