During our Y2K testing, we discovered that our numeric field that holds our date value (in this example 20000229) when using the date numeric editing function of Query/400 yields 0/02/29 instead of 00/02/29. Using edit code, you can get 2000/02/29, but needless to say that would at least require writing queries. IBM says this function was only intended for MMDDYY fields, but the manual doesn't really document that. I'm just wondering if there is anyone else who is inconvenienced by this. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
