re: Cloning your CDs:

-- There are stand alone CD copiers available.  Check the back of 'any' PC
or Mac magazine.  This would free up the drive on the '400, and, possibly,
run faster.

-- If you need a large quantity, a commercial duplicating house may be your
answer.  I believe that commercial CDs are injection molded, not written
bit-by-bit.
