Yes, its ordered but not neccessarily without gaps, nor starting with a number 
of "1" as a  key.  Of course too if one is loading the whole array but not the 
whole subfile, then there wouldn't be redundancy.

In my opinion we sometimes confuse efficiency with effectiveness.  Most look-up 
scenarios I am aware of are because of user interaction.  The difference 
between .0001 seconds and .00010 seconds is 10 times, but does a user really 
notice?
