Host on Demand is a feature of IBM Communications Server for NT/AIX/ and
others(?). It's basically a RAS server application package similar to MS SNA
server but allows 3270, 5250, and VT terminal emulation from a TCPIP
network. It has a Java applet for the emulation tool..elegant solution
really.

OK Net.Data is its part of DG1 from 430 and up and TC1 before that

Net.Commerce isn't

and host on demand isn't well at least I have never seen anything say it is
:)

Subject: net.data, net.commerce, host on demand?

Folks:

Can anyone tell me if the following features are included as base
OS400...

1. Net.data
2. Net.commerce
3. Host on demand

(I suspect that 2 & 3 are *NOT* part of the base, but I'm not sure about
1).

Thanks!

david

p.s. I'd ask our IBM rep, but I have no idea who that is :)
