Angie,

 Your mistake is the keyword START.  Using that tells the OS to launch another
copy of the Bat file and then quit.  Of course all that is seen in that copy is
to start another copy and then quit. And that copy starts another copy .......  
Just remove the keyword START and you should be ok.
