Archie,

It's quite simple to write a batchftp program. You put the ftp commands in
a source member and optionally assign a source member to receive the output
messages. The following extract shows how to override the input and output
streams to these members.

OVRDBF   INPUT TOFILE(srcflib/srcf) MBR(ftpcmds)
OVRDBF   OUTPUT     TOFILE(srcflib/srcf) MBR(ftpout)
FTP      RMTSYS(sys123)

Typically the member ftpcmds will begin with the ID and password to log in
to the remote system. There is a clear example in the TCP/IP Configuration
and Reference manual.
