As the attributor, I should point out that the 2015 was in answer to a how
long will RPG be around question.  I didn't get the impression he was saying
that that was when IBM would pull the plug.  It sounded to me like he pulled
a number out of the air that seemed to be sufficiently far away to indicate
that RPG wasn't going to go away real soon now.  I didn't want to create the
impression that 2015 meant any more than "a long time yet."

As I remember, my dad had a speech on literal mindedness he used to deliver
a lot when I was a kid.  Naturally it was when my brother, sister, or I
didn't pick up on the symbolic significance of whatever he was saying.  I
find that in middle age, it's also my fault when others take what I say
literally.  Can't win.
