By default, NetServer wants to use your Windows networking client user ID
and password to connect to the AS/400. If the password isn't the same,
you'll be prompted for it.

There is a new CA/400 Express redbook at
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/SG245191/sg245191.htm that comes as close any
IBM docs to provide a solid chapter of NetServer documentation. IBM is quite
proud of it, it still seems weak to me. But, it is better than nothing! The
NetServer chapter includes a section on security and user authorization.
There is a guest profiles feature that may solve your problem.
