Yes, but that's simply an argument for not modifying the source at all,
it's not an argument for not converting to RPG/IV before applying any mods.

If the problem is caused by your mod. it's not the vendor's problem. If the
problem is not caused by the mod. it's reproducable in the vanilla version,
hence it is the vendor's problem.
