Heard a great quote from one of the AS/400 database
developers.  He was talking about the AS/400's ability to
run Native batabases, S/36 databases, IFS databases, etc.
and lamenting the poor design that many of these application
databases had:

"We run some some of the crappiest databases ever built, and
run them better than anyone else ever could"
