A great thought: it allows us all to be inhabitants of the Global
Village. Might I add one world one people

Don, Dave, all,

One of the great things about the current setup is the I am not barraged with
RPG, VB, Java email. Midrange-L adds enough heft to my daily download that I
guarantee that another list that is even less filtered will definitely NOT
include me.

Well I'm in the UK, and I'm with Don 100%. It's not at all apparent to me
what benefits there would be from having our own list. Everyone benefits
from the great pooling of knowlege and experience that is midrange-l.
That's the power of the Internet - it allows us all to be inhabitants of
the Global Village. And it has to be said that the great majority of the
useful information comes from the U.S. although there are significant
contributions from all parts of the world. Midrange-l is my most useful
single resource. Apart from that I actually enjoy swapping ideas with
people in other countries. It ain't broke; don't try to fix it.
