I don't mean to make you feel worse, but this is an extremely narrow-minded, bottom-line attitude of your company. I'll never forget the first AS/400 Technical Conference I went to. I crammed so much new knowledge into my head in just that one week, and came back being able to do so much more, that my company reaped rewards far beyond what they spent to send me. It must have been obvious to them too, because the next year my manager told me I was going before I even I had the chance to ask. To refuse sending you to that kind of training is penny wise and pound foolish. But, I'm sure you already know that. :-) Terry Herrin Sr. Programmer/Analyst New Hanover Regional Medical Center Wilmington, NC +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
