Yes, OPNQRYF is powerful. But isn't it just for companies who are too cheap to buy SQL?
Two things. The original message dealt with how do you do this in
OPNQRYF and I suggested an answer. Next, not all companies want to
shell out $6,000 for a P20 group DB2/SQL. Yes, I have SQL and I love
it and use it extensively interactively and within programs. Finally,
both SQL, OPNQRYF and QUERY use QQQUERY engine under cover ;-)
We all need to use the tools as required and not be married to a particular
methodology. (Well should we start that GOTO vs DO ? discussion.

does not like this. Try the following:
