I think the original purpose of the QPRINT2 output queue was to allow
grouping of reports to be printed on two-part carbon forms.  The
printers of the day were far too slow to print the report multiple
times.   In fact, the disk drives were so small that "spooling" of
output was uncommon.  Which leads me to wonder,  what was the first S/3
to support spooling?
