After some testing I've concluded this will work in some limited situations. It will work on folders under QDLS. It will work on objects and libraries underneath QSYS.LIB. It will not work on QDLS, other directories, QSYS.LIB hkrebs@hkrebs.dk on 04/19/99 04:32:55 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Subject: Sv: IFS disk usage & backup > I don't think that Windows Explorer will work on the 400 for telling you the Why shouldn't it? An important thing is look at the properties of a folder (not a drive) as Win uses different programs to handle this. But just attach '\' to a drive (should look like '\\S44xxxxx') and rightclick + Properties. For example my '\QCA400' reports 179.573.060 bytes, 2.997 files, 49 folders. Another thing: I had once a small utility displaying an overview of all folders with a nice GUI. I searched for one at tucows today but found none (maybe it was a part of a 100$ Shareware, but all I want is a utility that does this and nothing else). Is it too small for Tucows?
