An extreme solution, to be sure, but perhaps no more so than the one I employed at home. When I replaced my IBM PS/1 with a new COMPAQ Presario, I left the COMPAQ keyboard in its box and plugged in the IBM keyboard. The reasons: I despise the little "Windows" keys and the IBM keyboard, despite having been used to type several hundred thousand words, was not, and still isn't, showing any signs of wear. Unfortunately, I have to deal with these keys at work. Donald R. I've never looked back since I did it about 2 years ago.
