John, at the time I write this letter you already got some answers and I see you prefer the Query. The question is if you need to use the new file (single record for pn but multiple locations) regularly but your app. updates the old file. If this is the situation, I think the best is to create a Join logical file based on your original file with selects, e.g. if you have n locations, use the same file (the original one) n times with selects of records, for each join select on a diferent location. In this way, you create once the file needed but you continue to update the original file as before. If you use query or even a program, you have to recreate or update the new file each time you need to use it.
