Non-AS400 programmers that have seen the eval statement say it reminds
them of basic

10 LET X=X+1

The comments usally run along the lines of "that's pretty primitive
isn't it ?"

primitive = !cool;

And while we're on the subject I think unary operators would be a good
thing to have

x++
x += 1
