  You certainly CAN do this but it is not as simple as it would seem. 
First off the T/R is probably going to be faster anyway unless it is
4MB and the Ethernet is 100. Are you looking for more bandwidth or are
you migrating from T/R to Ethernet?

  Creating the second connection is not too difficult:  You will need
controllers (different names of course) on each Ethernet line. I
believe the only difference between these and the ones on the T/R line
is that they need a different APPN Transmission Group number.  You
will also need devices (different names again) and these must specify
different Mode names (Probably new one that you created based on the
default in the network attributes).  To use the new link you must
specify the Mode name assigned on the Ethernet devices.  (In
STRPASTHR, CRTDDMF etc)
