Most of the time I port to Excel simply by creating a Tab (hex 05)
delimited file. Simply concat your field values in a resulting
alphanumeric field and output the field to a PF. Then run CPYTOPCD or
CPYTOSTMF to convert to ASCII. The file suffix is simply .txt

When Excel opens this file it will see the tabs and assume them to be
separators. Click on the Finish button to complete the import wizard and
your done.
