Lurton,

Even IBM recommends the the ADSM/BRMS NOT be used for primary save/restore.  It 
does not follow the standard ADSM rules.  I have tried it and can verify it's 
use is sub-par at best.  The AS/400 works fine as an ADSM server but stay away 
from the client for now.

Someone last week asked about a single backup server to do UNIX, Sun, NT,
WinXX and AS/400 backup.
It appears that ADSM now has an AS/400 client to backup to ADSM through
BRMS.  This means that you can have all of the clients going to ADSM but the
down side is that you have to purchase BRMS also.
