I think the current trend is for larger shops to go with someone who specializes
in security, especially in cases where they are connecting their system to the
internet.  Years ago, I would have been able to perform most, if not all, of the
security functions, but now with all the security woes added by hooking up to
the internet, there is much more to know and do.
