For all you concerned about security:

The magazine 2600 "The Hacker Quarterly" has 2 articles on AS/400 hacking.
One is an overview, the other gets into the details of COSTCO's retail
system.  Fortunately the first article is very basic and even wrong in a few
points (QSYSOPR is NOT "root")  Unfortunately, both these articles will
inspire more mischief.

You can probably find 2600 at a Borders or Barnes and Noble bookstore.
