Booth, I've gotta tell ya, we have 3 AS/400s that are connected to the Internet. I get to them via dial-up line. 2 of the 3 use Advanced Business Link's Strategi product. The other is regular Rochester stuff. I use the Strategi Java 5250 emulation client to get into the boxes. The Java class is automatically loaded onto my PC. It is written in Java, so all I have to do is click on our "sign on to 5250" button on a HTML page, and I'm in. For the non-Strategi machine, I use Telnet. There's a couple of working 5250-aware Telnet clients out there. IBM's CA Express is but one of them.
