Here is a real simple way to convert a hex character to decimal.
Define the following data structure.
D DS INZ
D Binary 1 2B 0
D Character 1 2A

When you move the hex value into character it does the conversion for you
automatically.
C Eval Binary = 0
C Move HexValue Character

Hope this works for you.

Leif,

thanks for the reply, but, <shuffles feet under the desk> err.... how do I
convert the hex code to a decimal number ? Or, to put it another way, is
there a simple way of doing this ?
