Hello Booth,

No, you're not alone. I know one of John Hilton's e-mail missives had only the
copied text
but no new text. That happens with mail from various sources, not just this
list, but usually
some MS product is the originating mailer. I just figure its another example of
a "MS
standard" not really being a standard at all when it is operating in a
cross-platform
environment.

You and I are both using OS/2 (different mailers though). I wonder if Larry
has problems
since he generally uses Netscape mail under OS/2.

Booth: X-Mailer: MR/2 Internet Cruiser Edition for OS/2 v1.60 b60
Larry: X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.04 [en] (OS/2; I)
Me: X-Mailer: Ultimedia Mail/2 Lite, IBM T. J. Watson Research Center

Hmmm, this wouldn't be another plot .... Nah, MS wouldn't involve themselves in
such a thing,
must be me being paranoid!

Serious question though: Does anyone else get duplicate messages arriving?
They have the
same originator, topic, and send date and time but only two copies. It doesn't
happen often,
but enough to be annoying. I'm trying to isolate it to my ISP or mailer but
it's so
inconsistent.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
