Depends on what you are imaging and why. One of my accounts uses AWD from DST
Systems in Kansas City (www.dstsystems.com) This is a multiplatform system that
captures images from paper, fax, or direct input. The system then controls the
routing of the image through all necessary people/processes to complete the
transaction. This software is often used in financial and insurance 
applications,
but there are many other opportunities.
