In addition, we 'rotate' our JOBQs-- when a job starts, we do a CHGJOBQE and more the queue to the highest unused queue number. This prevents a single user from flooding their jobq and hogging the system. We have a job that runs when the sequence numbers approach '9999' to re-number all the queues so we can start over again. --Paul E Musselman PaulMmn@ix.netcom.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
