This is done on purpose so that a war of words is not started between 'them' and 'us'. I assure you that the information is not simply tossed however because when the same issue comes up enough times (from different people of course) the items or tests in question are reviewed. As an example the sys admin tests are being re-done this fall (keep those cards and letters coming!!). I had an un-named source within IBM claim 'that test is tired'.
