Just wondering if anyone has done the following, or maybe has an idea of another way to do it. I was thinking about setting up an AS/400 to act as a web server for the internet. I also want to do developement on it and have it server as an intranet server. The thing is, on the internet side, I don't want someone to be able to telnet to my IP address and get a signon screen. But, I still want to be able to signon to do work, so ending the Telnet server wouldn't work. Make sense? How would this be done? Two NICs? Two IP addresses? Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.
