Bill,

    Any system that I have programmed on, that date is 09/09/99, which
would be stored as 090999, not 9999.  I have used 999999 as end of file,
but that month and date combination does not exist.  The 99th day of the
99th month of the year?

    Just my opinion, of why we don't have to worry.
