Isn't that a neat pickle?  You can create an object on the AS/400 that even
QSECOFR cannot delete.

It's another one of AS/400's security quirks that OS/400 won't show you, and
therefore can't allow youto turn off, the DOS Read-Only flag.  You have to go
back to the DOS (or Windows Exploder) interface to turn that bit off.  Then
you'll be able to delete the object.

The explanation of why things are that way was a bit mind-numbing, and I'm sorry
that I cannot now repeat it, but that's how IFS security works.
