Heads up all!
We recently upgraded out Novell Client to 4.60.604 Service Pack 1 on our NT
workstations. We are running CA400 Version 3.1.3 SF48155 and I have Express
and
SF57098 on mine, and low and behold, when you do a Data Transfer 'YOU CAN'T
CREATE A FILE ON A NETWORK DRIVE'. You get an error that says it can't find
the
path to the file you want to create, the only way you can get it to work is
if
the file already exists, even if it's 0 bytes. This drove me crazy for the
last
week or so, there is nothing about this problem on ether the Novell or the
IBM
sites. We finally got a internal APAR from IBM that's not on their main APAR
page. It seems to be a problem with Novell and our Novell rep says it's
fixed in
version 5 and they are searching for a patch for our version. All the lower
versions of Novell seem to be unaffected. Just thought all of you would like
to
know.

I don't mind the rat race but I could do with a little
more cheese.
