John, this sounds like compiler error RNF7421 which is
issued for a coding error in your RPG module rather
than a binding error.  Can you post the statement getting
the error as well as the cross reference entries from the
listing for all the variables in the statement?

To answer your actual question on how to bind the modules:
CRTPGM PGM(lib/pgm) MODULE(rpgmodule cmodule) ENTMOD(rpgmodule)
