Title: RE: IFS problem

/ifsdir was just pseudo code.  I meant it to stand for any ifs directory.  The root directory is /.

Guy,
Thanks. I found the MOV command and that seemed to do the trick. Just like the CPY, it lets you specify a directory.

Does /ifsdir get you to the root directory? If I do WRKLNK, this directory doesn't show up. If I prompt the MOV command, the default directory is '.' which I assume is the root directory.

Use the CPY command.

 CPY OBJ('/QDLS/FOLDER/FILE') TOOBJ('/ifsdir/ifsfile')
