QZDASOINIT and ODBC performance

We have developed a very nice Access DB interface for our Execs and Salesmen
(god forbid they have to use green screen) which uses ODBC to link to files
on our 400. I have noticed some perfomance issues related to this in the
*interact pool. The ODBC job uses job QZDASOINIT to run, under the QSERVER
subsystem.
Would changing the QZDASOINIT to a batch job have any unforseen
consequences? As far as I can tell this job controls ODBC and file transfer
only.
